Bobby and Jenny Mihsill
Missions Focus:
  • Teaching at IBAO (West Africa Bible Institute)
  • Helping the national church development
  • Training leaders for the Children of Promise program
  • Coordinating work camp teams coming to Cote d’Ivoire

Bobby and Jenny Mihsill arrived in Côte d’Ivoire in January 2015 after a year of language school in France. The Mihsills teach various theological courses at IBAO institute and assist with the national church by training leaders for Children of Promise. Bobby and Jenny led the launch of the Children of Promise program in Cote d’Ivoire in the summer of 2016. Another one of their ministry objectives is to help coordinate and host work camps in Cote d’Ivoire.

Jenny was born in Seymour, Indiana but was raised in Woodburn, Oregon, after her parents (Sam and Mary Dunbar) relocated to serve in ministry at Hoodview Church of God. The seed for missions was first planted in her heart at a youth session at Oregon State Camp Meeting. She has taken several mission trips and has served as a Special Assignment Missionary to Japan for Global Missions for three years.

Bobby was born and raised in Meghalaya, India, where his immediate and extended family has been part of the Church of God for many years. A powerful encounter at a youth camp at the age of 18 led him to commit his life to Christ. After earning a BA in Business and Accounting, Bobby began working for a non-government organization teaching street children in Kolkata. It was there that he and Jenny met when she was working to complete her AUSOT internship in India. They completed their seminary degrees and were married in 2010.  Their son, Moore, was born in 2013.

Jenny and Bobby will be on home assignment from January through October 2017. Please contact Candy Power at cpower@chog.org if you would like to schedule a visit from the Mihsills.
